A lot of time, and love, go into the making of my toppers. They are uniquely different from any other toppers you will find. Each topper is a quality, handmade piece of art.
All of my toppers are made with paperclay. It is an all natural, non-toxic and biodegradable material. It is an air dry clay that is very durable and strong when it is dry.
Each topper is hand sculpted. They are dried for several days (ensuring strength), carefully sanded and then hand painted. No two toppers are exactly alike. Each has it's own "personality". This is also why my waiting list is so long. It takes several days to complete each set. These toppers, if treated properly, should last a lifetime.
Unlike ceramic, or even polymer clay, these toppers are SUPER lightweight. The are perfect for any cake, any frosting. Each of the Large birds weighs approx. 2.50 ounces, with the small ones weighing just .75 ounces each.
Each topper has a UV protective finish added with a second, super coat, added to the bottoms to protect them from light moisture. Though your toppers should never be submerged in water, they can be wiped with a damp cloth to remove frosting or dust.

how much do you charge for a set of the bird cake toppers?

I just happened upon your website by accident, but I love the lovebird wedding cake toppers. I tried to go to the pricing page but it would not go anywhere. I am getting married on October 10th, 2010 and would love to have your birds as a wedding cake topper. I am on a budget and was wondering about the prices, as I may not be able, to afford them. Please e-mail me the price list, so I can see if they might be a possibility. Thank you! -Kat

Hi! I'm from Brazil and I saw your toppers on a blog I usually read. I'm delighted to find you because my dream is to have a pair of ducks as the topper of my wedding cake, and your birds are simply the most exquisite toppers I've ever seen!! Do you make ducks instead of birds? And most important, do you mail them abroad?
Thank you very much!!

The link for your pricing doesn't work. Do you have your prices posted somewhere else?
