Kristine and David contacted me and asked me to make a topper for their fall wedding.  They were married in St. Michael's Church in Victoria, Texas.  The wedding was beautifully captured by Amy DeYoung Photography.  Lovely wedding!!

Sharing a picture

I am here in Oregon visiting my parents.  This is the view from their dining room.  The bird feeder is full of little birds, non-stop, all day long. 

I could sit for hours and watch them, but alas, there is work to do.. :)

DIY Centerpiece Ideas!

While surfing around I came across this great tutorial on making these lovely centerpieces by Lindsay Wierzbinski, and I thought I would share them.  These were made with white Carnations, but you could use any flower, fresh or artificial.  I just love this idea.

Another idea is to use cupcake liners.  These are adorable and the instructions for making them can be found on Kara's Party Ideas.

You could even use Coffee Filter Roses that you can make yourself.

New Topper!

I thought I would share a picture of a topper that I just finished.  I am visiting my family in Oregon and I was so inspired by the adorable Quail that run all over the place, I thought I would make a Quail topper.

Quail are monogamous and mate for life.  They are devoted parents to their chicks, which are the cutest little things you have ever seen!

My son would have LOVED this robot bank when he was younger, he would probably love it now, for that matter!  The artist, Scott Nelles, has a great shop full of wonderful things!

Thought I would share a picture of a medium blue bird that I made for my Mom's friend.  It is her birthday.  She wanted her to have a bird to sit in her window sill.  Love the parasol, a perfect addition!
